It is the primary responsibility of the Retail Sales Associate to assist with the daily operations for both Walker Boutique and Little Doses Children's Boutique. The position is first reviewed after a 90-day probationary period to allow discussion regarding performance and fit.

Qualifications
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Comfortable speaking confidently about boutique apparel, gifts, and accessories with customers.
- Availability to work approximately 2 Saturdays per month (3 in months with 5 weekends).
- Availability to work during holidays, special events, and extra hours during peak season (September through December).
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive on time, ready for each scheduled shift.
- Follow opening and closing procedures.
- Greet each customer promptly and warmly.
- Answer the phone promptly and warmly.
- Use the Shopify Point of Sale (POS) system effectively and consistently to complete register transactions and generate sales.
- Manage all register procedures in an honest and ethical manner.
- Know the floor merchandise and stay familiar with new product.
- Maintain a visually pleasing store by stocking, replenishing, hanging, folding, displaying, organizing, and merchandising product.
- Pick, pack, and prepare online and in-store orders for fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory tasks including unboxing, steaming, and tagging.
- Maintain the sales floor, dressing rooms, wrap station, and bridal room alongside team members.
- Protect inventory by handling fragile items carefully and storing product to prevent stains and deterioration.
- Safeguard store assets and follow company policy after identifying theft.
- Gift wrap purchases with attention to detail.
- Assist with social media per manager's request.
Physical Demands
- Carrying products up and down stairways.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Climbing ladders to move merchandise.
